Life Happens at Kruse Village

Located amidst the serene, rolling hills of Brenham, Kruse Village is home to the region’s only Continuing Care Retirement Community where older adults have access to a full continuum of senior care. At Kruse Village, you’ll benefit from an easy transition from independent living to assisted living, memory care, or long-term care as needs may arise or preferences change. Once inside Kruse Village’s welcoming lobby, you’ll find a gracious fireplace, elegant dining room, friendly residents, and ample opportunity to lead an enriching, vibrant lifestyle. What is most noticeable though, is the unique connection shared among residents as well as team members.

Testimonials

William and Joan P.

“In March of 2019, we moved from a house in Brenham, Texas, to a cottage in Kruse Village. We have been very happy with the facility and the size and the floor plan of our new home. Also, we have been pleased with the quick and efficient maintenance. There are numerous activities and programs to suite our needs and interests. The residents are friendly and inclusive. We still keep-up with our friends, church, and other activities in Brenham.”

Tieman D.

“The results and care were excellent. The administrative staff was not only knowledgeable, but they have wisdom, and the community was like family.”

Gordon and Judy D.

“We moved to Kruse Village in October of 2017. We wanted to be closer to our daughters and to live in a warmer climate. In addition, we had reached a stage in life where we no longer wanted the responsibility of the upkeep of a house. We can say without hesitation that moving to Kruse has been a great and wise decision.
Our experience has been very positive. The duplex is more than adequate for our needs. The grounds are well maintained. The staff at Kruse is friendly and very responsive to any issues which may arise. The director makes himself available, and it is clear that our well-being is of great importance to him. The activities are well-planned and varied. We stay as busy as we choose to be. We enjoy traveling. Kruse has provided us a place that we can leave without having to make arrangements for the care and upkeep of our living quarters.”

“‘I wish I had known about this place and had moved in sooner.’ This is a phrase heard from many newcomers to Kruse Village. After being at Kruse Village for 2 or 3 months, one realizes that they should have been here years earlier. My name is Jack and I have been a Kruse Village resident for 5 years. My wife, Corinne, and I have been so pleased to be here. We live in a very nice duplex that meets our needs perfectly. All our maintenance and lawn care are taken care of. Speaking of lawn care, our campus leaves nothing to be desired. Large oak and pine trees provide shade and wild life. There are lots of squirrels and birds. One doesn’t worry about being bored here. Our highly qualified activity personal always come up with new and exciting things to do. The activities offered are to numerous to list, but I’ll name a few. Start the day with senior-friendly exercise then go for a ride in the country on one of our vans with a stop for lunch somewhere along the way. In the afternoon, card and domino games abound. If you are a movie person, enjoy the latest cinemas in our movie room. Happy hour and ice cream socials happen very often. My favorite place is the well-equipped woodworking shop. For your quiet time, there is a very well stocked library. This is really a “see for yourself” place. The friendly and efficient staff is always ready and able to assist anyone in need.”
